ADMISSIONS
There are many choices for education today, but there is one crucial aspect that is critical for students today: knowing Jesus Christ and walking in His ways.
At the A.C.S.I. accredited Gateway Christian School, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered education to our young people so they will be equipped both academically and spiritually for all God has planned for them to do. We believe every child has a unique purpose in this life, and it is our goal to partner with you, as parents, in helping discover the plans God has for them.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
To register, the registration packets/forms must be completed and returned to the Elementary School Office.
All applicants, 1st through 12th grade, must take a placement exam. The exam takes approximately 1 1/2 hours and tests the student's math and reading skills. There is a $25 testing fee per applicant. Your exam will be scheduled through the office.
Bring recent report cards, standardized test scores, and test results on learning differences (if applicable) before the Acceptance Interview.
An Acceptance Interview will be scheduled through the office. The application does not automatically mean acceptance. All students and parents must be interviewed before acceptance. This process allows the school to get acquainted with you and your child to ensure it is a good fit for both parties.
A non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee is required to hold the student's place.
A copy of the student's immunization record must be submitted with the New Student application form.

There is an EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION OF $200.00 If paid by May 10th with supplemental forms turned in. After May 10th, registration is $300.00
FINANCIAL AID
Our school offers need-based grants, as funds are available, to make tuition affordable for more families. We use a third-party organization to help us accurately and fairly assess a family’s ability to pay and, after review, award grants accordingly. BeneFAQ (formerly known as Confidential Financial Services or CFS) has been supporting Christian families for over 20 years. They understand the importance of you providing your child with a Christian education, which is why we are glad to partner with them in this, area of expertise. Their application process will request financial information from you that primarily consists of income, expenses, assets, and debts. BeneFAQ uses that information to calculate a “Family Anticipated Contribution Total” (FACT Report) and sends us that information. Once received, we will reach out to you to discuss the results.
To apply for financial aid at Gateway Christian School:
1. Go to BeneFAQ.com
2. Select "Parent Login" on the top right of the page. You can create a new account or sign in from here.
3. Enter the school's 5-digit code, which is: 29710
3. Fill out the online forms and remit the required fee. BeneFAQ will then send GCS a report.
Scholarship Opportunities
The McCutchen Foundation:
The McCutchen Foundation was established to enable students to obtain elementary or secondary Christian education. If you meet the qualifications you may pick up an application for this scholarship in the school business office.
The opportunity is available to students entering 1st - 12th grade. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need.
